Amber Whitecliffe is proudly an ethically New Zealand Made women’s brand. The label launched online in November 2012 and opened the doors to the boutique in Parnell, Auckland in March 2014. Since then it has been sold around New Zealand and globally.
Designer Amber Pinto (nee Whitecliffe) is 31 years old and mum to Boston, (who is 3 years old) She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fashion industry, graduating with a BFA majoring in Fashion Design from Whitecliffe College of Arts in 2009, and has worked for NZ designer Dame Trelise Cooper, Lucie Boshier & Tara Cunniffe, and textile and trimmings specialists Hawes & Freer.
Amber enjoys the use of colour, feminine details, and tailoring. Every piece is a work of art and has a distinctive ‘Amber Whitecliffe’ point of difference; AW garments have a strong focus on high-quality fabrics, fit and eye-catching designs. Amber Whitecliffe creates seasonal ready-to wear collections, and custom order designs for special events. It has become a well-known brand for weddings as Amber Whitecliffe dresses the Brides, Bridesmaids, and mother of the Bride/Groom.
