Introducing our newest collection……
Rosewood-Winter 2017 , By Amber Whitecliffe
This collection was inspired the characters in the mystery-thirller TV series, Pretty Little Liars. The pieces featured in Rosewood are influenced by the character’s different styles and personalities; showcasing tailored and feminine garments combined with unique fabric choices. The colour palette celebrates the American autumnal colours with orange, gold, rich greens and versatile navy and black. The new winter range showcases transeasonal pieces that will take you effortlessly from the warmer summer months and into winter.
Drop One has just been released, my personal favourite is the Hanna Dress, it looks so good with my favourite Navy Coat and Red lipstick! Drop Two coming soon so keep an eye out on our social media pages!…….
Love Amber xx
I just had an amazing three week break in America with my family. We took our ten month old son Boston who was exceptional little traveller! First stop was Boston (of course) to watch the final NBA home game for the Boston Celtics! We got all dressed up in the gear and we were even filmed for NBA TV! It was so much fun and a dream come true for my hubby! We loved exploring the city itself and doing touristy things the rest of the week although it was very cold and rained the majority of the time.
We then went on to Toronto to see family and the Niagra Falls-which were incredible! I can understand why it is one of the wonders of the world. From there we went to New York, as a fashionista this was a must and I thoroughly enjoyed window shopping the high-end designers, visiting Mood and other fabric stores in the Garment district!
On the way home we had four days in Hawaii and mum flew over to join us! This was a total contrast of beautiful warm weather. Boston loved the beach; eating sand and playing with other young children! I am defiantly refuelled and ready to take on the rest of the year, we have a busy wedding season already lined up with an incredible response to our bridal range and our continuing popular bridesmaid and Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses. I hope to see you all in-store soon to tell you more about my trip and showcase the gorgeous new winter range which I tested out on my trip and am absolutely loving!!
I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU! to all the people who came along to our Bridal Launch night on March 2nd. Moving into Wedding dresses has been a very exciting venture. On top of that we have extended our Parnell Boutique allowing for more space with consultations and a large workroom at the back, meaning we can have all our fabrics and patterns on hand! Looks like we are in for a busy year with 12 wedding orders already booked in for 2018!! The night wouldn’t of been such a success with out Natalie from FloraMay who decked out the boutique with flowers and a feature Flower Arch! And I wanted to make a special mention to Jane Wilkins whom inspired me to do this range. Much Love, Amber xx
It is the “Day of Love” soon! I personally think Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to do something special for a loved one (whoever that may be!) I also enjoy dressing up in something red.
Valentines Day has a very special meaning for my family as this was the day before my father passed away. My mum and I dressed up in matching red leather pants (this was 17 years ago so don’t judge me!) and we sung love songs to my dad all night as he lay on his hospital bed- A beautiful memory of love.
We have lots of gorgeous red garments in store at the moment! My favourites being the Cranberry Top, Aleysha Maxi and Port Wrap. We also have some gorgeous things for gifts such as; handmade cards by Studio Arc and delicious candles by Captives.
Let us know if we can help you make someone’s Valentines Day extra special this year!
Much Love, Amber xx

Hello my GORGEOUS Customers!
For those of you who haven’t heard, I am now a mum! Boston Kerehi Oscar Pinto was born on the 13th May. He weighed 3.45kgs and was 57cm long. He is very healthy and cute and my husband and I are besotted!!
I have been overwhelmed by the response since giving birth to my wonderful son. Boston has been spoilt with gifts and I have received numerous emails, texts and enquires to the AW team about him! I have always tried to create REAL relationships with my customers; remember their names, jobs, and items they have bought and for what occasion. This is really important to me because EVERY customer of Amber Whitecliffe contributes to my NZ Made label existing and is what makes my job so enjoyable. I wasn’t expecting to feel so much love and support back from you all, so thank you!
I have also had great feedback about my two AW girls Jess and Sophia, I am glad they are looking after you and giving you the service you deserve while I get to know my son! I was hoping on returning to work this week, but as I had to have a c-section I am unable to drive for a few more weeks, so Boston and I are hanging out at home and we are working from here.
The new winter range Pink Nouveau has had so much amazing press and customer response. A lot of it has already SOLD OUT! I am in love with all the pieces. Jess and I worked together to create a really broad range with lots of pieces, unique colours and fabrics for winter and most importantly garments that are trans-seasonal for the crazy New Zealand weather (especially Auckland’s typical “4 seasons n one day”).
As I was designing the range I was thinking about how my life was about to change, and what was important to me. I drew inspiration from moments with my girlfriends who had offered me support and fun times, and been understanding of my busy lifestyle which was about to get a whole lot busier! I have a new appreciation for working mums, and just anyone supporting a family in general!
Anyway, thank you again for the support-keep posting those photos of you in your AW gears and spreading the word! I look forward to catching up soon and introducing my little human to you!
A special thank you to Kate Wark –http://www.katewark.co.nz who came and took some wonderful photos for us! I highly recommend Kate, she takes beautiful natural shots (she also helped with our wedding photos! )
